Firmware (F/W) Update Support Period Notice

* The firmware update support period varies depending on the product certification.

* TCO Certified Products : Supported for 5 years after discontinuation.

* EPEAT Certified Products : Supported for 8 years after discontinuation.

* Firmware updates may not be available after the above periods.

1. Models that support online firmware updates : Updates can be performed via "On Screen Control" or "LG Switch" Application.

2. Models that do not support online firmware updates : Updates can be performed through the service centers in each country.

LG Electronics is dedicated to adhering to the standards set by EPEAT, an online registry aimed at promoting environmentally friendly electronics. EPEAT was created with the support of a grant from the U.S. EPA and its standards were developed through a collaborative effort involving nonprofit organizations, manufacturers, government entities, and purchasers.

The EPEAT criteria, derived from the IEEE 1680.1 standard for environmental and social responsibility assessment of computers, displays, including tablets.

Environmental performance reporting by suppliers

LG Electronics offers information on supplier environmental performance through its LG Sustainability Report and provides additional details on supplier environmental practices through Supplier Environment Information.

LG Electronics' reduction plan of GHG emissions from product transportation

As part of its efforts to manage and reduce GHG emissions in response to climate change,
LG Electronics will collect and disclose GHG emissions from product transportation annually starting in 2024 and establish reduction plan* to manage GHG emissions from product transportation.

TCO Certified Product Warranty Commitment
(Applicable to TCO Generation 10 Certified Models)

At LG Electronics, we are committed to providing reliable product support and warranty services in accordance with TCO Certified Generation 10 requirements.

The extended warranty purchase option policy described below applies only to LG Electronics products that have been officially certified under TCO Generation 10. TCO CERTIFIED


Standard Warranty Period

• The standard warranty period provided with the product is 1 to 3 years (free of charge)
• The standard warranty period may vary depending on local consumer protection laws.
Details on the minimum warranty period applicable in each market are specified in the printed materials (warranty card) included with the product.


Extended Warranty Option

• Customers may purchase an additional 2 to 4 years of extended warranty coverage.
• The cost of the extended warranty is 15% of the product's Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) per year.
• The maximum total warranty period, including both the standard and extended warranty, is up to 5 years.
